National Health Care for the Homeless Council (NHCHC):
Grounded in human rights and social justice, NHCHC’s mission is to build an equitable, high-quality healthcare system through training, research, and advocacy in the movement to end homelessness.
Since 1986, they have brought together thousands of health care professionals, medical respite care providers, people with lived experience of homelessness, and advocates. Their 200+ organizational members include Health Care for the Homeless programs, respite programs, and housing and social service organizations across the country.
NHCHC is the premier national organization working at the nexus of homelessness and health care. We are dedicated to working closely. Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA):
OALA represents the largest number of assisted living communities of any trade association in the state. OALA is very active legislatively, informing legislators about assisted living, impacting proposed legislation, and even initiating legislation advocating for our members, partners, and consumers. Joining their staff in this effort is our government relations team and capitol advocates, providing the association with a broader and more consistent presence at the statehouse. They work regularly with all state agencies impacting assisted living, sharing knowledge, and understanding of the industry and the issues.
Education is at the core of their mission keeping people informed and offering opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge in our field and network through conferences, trade shows, programs, and resources on OALA’s website. https://www.ohioassistedliving.org/
OneSource Center for Nonprofit Excellence:
Nonprofit agencies do incredible work to improve the quality of life in Greater Cincinnati. Often, they want to do even more. OneSource provides a wide variety of services, products, and connections to help nonprofits increase capacity and effectiveness.
Organizations can take advantage of expert consulting on a broad range of topics. Skills are strengthened at monthly seminars or in leadership development classes. To help stretch every dollar, nonprofit staff can shop in the OneSource warehouse for donated furniture or the OneSource Marketplace for retail store donations. OneSource Center can refer nonprofits to other free or low-cost resources. The result? Stronger nonprofits, supporting and enriching more people throughout Greater Cincinnati.
OneSource has more than 30 years of experience providing nonprofits with the opportunity to purchase donated corporate furniture and merchandise, as well as providing monthly seminars with a wealth of expert consulting and leadership development services. Leadership Council for NonProfits:
The Leadership Council is a growing group of local nonprofit agencies that wish to build capacity, connect, collaborate with, and learn from each other to meet the needs of the community. The Leadership Council serves the Tristate region: Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southwest Indiana. All nonprofits in our service area are invited to join.
Their network of nonprofit agencies, with almost 250 nonprofit members, represents more than 17,000 employees and provides an economic impact of over $1,300,000,000 in our community.
The Leadership Council supports the nonprofit community by offering leadership development programs, training, cost savings (including retirement plans at no cost and group purchasing,) and networking opportunities for its members. www.leadershipcouncil.us/
